The Board members of the Monhegan Artists' Residency Corporation generously contributes their time and professional skills to carry out organization activities. This means every donation goes entirely to financing residency fellowships that provide living accommodations and studio space on Monhegan, uninterrupted work time, and stipends for three artists each summer.

By supporting the Monhegan Artists’ Residency with a donation, you are helping to nurture the creative process for individual artists who are awarded the residency. Over time, their experience on Monhegan ripples outward to enrich the art community in Maine and beyond. MARC residencies have helped to advance careers, have supported artists while they take risks and shift directions, and have encouraged the creation of new work.
