The Carina residency was a gift of
time-five weeks to explore the island and to work.
With boxloads of art supplies and books, I stepped
off the ferry and into a lovely studio where, with
no distractions and no expectations, I began a series of small
paintings on paper. The "Mnemonics" broke new ground for me
and I'm ever grateful for my time on Monhegan.
